Default 2011 LC9 with a 2011 4L60E??

Looking to buy a LC9 with 44k miles to be used in a Toyota FJ40 style body with FJ40 axles and a FJ60 split style 19 spline transfer case.

The engine originally came with a 6L80E trans but I cant use that because Advanced Adaptors does no make an adaptor that will work with that trans.

The guy selling the motor would give me a 2011 4L60E (4X4) with only 12K miles instead and I realize I would have to have a whole harness made and have both the ECM and TCM flashed.

Is there a better trans I should be looking at? I tried finding a 4L65E but he doesn't have one. Maybe a 4L70E? And is it a good idea to stick with a gen IIII motor or should I go back t gen III?

Just looking for some reassurance from the gurus before a drop 4K on a motor and trans on this project. Thanks!

Marks makes an adaptor for the HF2A, maybe you could make a hybrid TC with 60 parts to work, if not I think they did make a late E38 with a t42 TCM for the 4L TRANS.
