Exclamation ls2 knock sensor n problem

Have a 2000 ws6 with a ls6/ls1 wiring harness. Put in a ls2 motor trying to figure out the knock sensor problem. Motor has the ls3 style knock sensors and I have the extention harmess from lingenfelter woth the two knock sensors and cam sensor plug. Do I need to tap the hole bigger on each side of the block for the ls1 sensor to fit. Or do I need a different harness extention or what. Idk what to do. Is there maybe a different year corvette knock sensor can use or anything. Really need help guys. This is my first ls2. Any help is appreciated

Seriously guys. Is there a different spot I need to drill or do I drill same hole. Also can I do this with the engine still in car?

A simple search will find a lot of threads telling you where and how to tap for them. You tap the knock sensor hole to the same size as the LS1 sensors and use them with harness extensions.
