LY5 5.3 AFM/DOD question I just purchased a brand new LY5 complete long block minus intake and front timing cover. I know it has the DOD/AFM that I have to remove and replace with non DOD componets. Question is can I use a timing cover from a 2002 LM7 5.3 to replace the missing one on this engine? This will be a carburated application in a 93 mustang.
