Default L92 stock flywheel with T56?

All,

I'm planning on buying a L92 dropout and using as much of the included parts as I can. I am going to be running a T56 and am wondering if I have to change the flywheel and starter for it to fit a T56 with LS style bell housing.

I cannot find anything via search that is conclusive.

Thanks!

If the L92 originally came with an automatic, then no, you need a flywheel instead of a flexplate. I have never seen an L92 with a manual transmission, but it may exist.

Flywheel for sure. It needs made a manual transmission flywheel for a number of reasons. The automatic transmission flywheel will not work at all.
