Default Flex plate bolts?

Is .520 (1/2"+) of thread engagement using Arp bolts enough for a aluminum flex plate?

They're 11mm, right? A good rule of thumb is to have 1.5*diam of thread engagement. So 11mm*1.5=16.5mm=0.650" of thread engagement.

I would get longer bolts.

Thread engagement is more important than what brand of bolt you use. Get longer bolts.

I think Circle-D sells the correct bolts. They make an aluminum flexplate and they "suggest" using them.

They are a bit to proud of their bolts for me!
