Kooks headers...which y pipe and cats?

Kooks headers...which y pipe and cats? Hello...before i start i want to say that i am new to these cars. I just bought my first 1999 SS a month ago and am very happy with it.
I have a question regarding an exhaust...the previous owner installed kooks headers and now the rest of the exhaust is in dire need of replacement. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what size catalytic converters are used and what y pipe would be used to make a new exhaust. I saw the kooks y pipe was like $600 and dont have the funds for that. I am thinking about putting a loudmouth 1 on it because i think it would be cool. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
