Minimum acceptable idle oil pressure ...

My 06 Tbss , oil pressure on hot days drops to about 26-27 psi during idle
I'm running mobile 1 0w-40

mine is the same... i run joe gibbs ls30 5w-30

I run the same thing lately with a new oil pump, but with looser clearances up top I'm not surprised I lost a few. I think GM says anything over the high teens at idle is ok, mainly you have to worry about is pressure when you drive.

I wouldn't be worried about that oil pressure at all, if you see any drastic changes or it gets much below 20 psi then I would worry. The 6.0L in my Silervado generally runs right around 24-25psi warm on hot days.
