lq4 6.0 engine swap I gt a 2002 trans am and I was curious if I could take te 6.0 out of a 2500 hd and put it in my car will it bolt up to my t56 transmission and any tips on what all would need to be done to make this happen. any advice or suggestions would be helpful thanks.
It will work depending on the year of the 6.0, you need a Gen 3 6.0 with a 24x tooth reluctor wheel on the crankshaft. You'll need to swap over the intake/ Drive accessories/ water pump/ coil packs / Oil Pan and pick up but everything should drop right in.

well I'm looking at one that come out of a 2005 model truck. would that work? I was thinking there was a kit you could buy or something to change that out if it wasn't the 24 tooth count. but thank you for the response it's very generous ��
