Default ls3 vs l92?

Hi what are the differences between the ls3 and the l92 block wise. Basically I was looking into the ls3 blocks but found a l92 so are they basically the same blocks.
Thanks

I think the blocks themselves are basically the same. When you start adding the internals then there are some differences such as VVT for the L92 and the pistons are different with regard to compression ratio. The heads have some differences with the intake valve. Either one is very desireable for a build. I would not hesitate in picking up an L92.

The pistons are different. The LS3 has a little more compression. The OP was asking about the blocks.
