This is a budget approach for my 2010 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab, 5.3L 2Wd, not looking for vastly amounts of performance increases, the main goal is to get rid of the DOD crap, and have a "set it and forget it) setup, along with passing California smog.
I have an LS2 cam in my garage from back when I had my Goat , and I was thinking to use that along with LS6 springs.

I've come up with my bucket list for this, and I want to make sure i'm not leaving something else i'll need, if somebody could validate the parts I'm thinking to get, it would be wonderful

I would ask an expert but you might consider getting an adjustable timing set and advancing the cam for best results.
