L96 Suburban 2500 bolt-on advice?

Default L96 Suburban 2500 bolt-on advice?

Hey guys I recently put some bigger 33" tires on my 2007 Suburban 2500. I've got a 6.0 L96 motor in there, and am looking to make a little more power. I tow allot, and this thing ain't exactly setting the world on fire. So a little advice:

-Upgraded intake, K&N?

-Cat-back exhaust. Which brand for power?

-Short Tube headers, are they worth the money or leave stock?

-In the event I do a cam, any advice for a "tow vehicle" cam? Is there even such a thing?

-PCM tune, can I just mail it out somewhere? Not really interested in a dyno tune unless I have no other options.

-Someone mentioned a throttle body spacer? I know nothing about it.

Any other advice is appreciated. Thanks!

A K&N intake is fine as long as it doesn't have a dry flow type filter(no oil), there's also AEM, Afe, Airaid, and Volant which are also good brands. As far as the exhaust Just stick with the stock exhaust manifolds and get a good high flow cat-back exhaust like either a Borla or Magnaflow.
IMO, don't was you money on a TB spacer.
So what gear are currently in the front& rear differentials?
Shorter gears in the differentials will help with towing and off-the-line acceleration, along with correcting the change in the effective gear ratio when running tall than stock tires which hurt towing and off-the-line performance.

Stock gears in there, but that was also on my list I just forgot to mention it. Never did that job before, so gotta look into how much of a hassle it is, and what it costs. Might consider LT headers and a free-flowing cat as well, depends on the price.
