Default Possible to move FAST MAP sensor from back to the front?

Is it possible to move the MAP sensor on a FAST intake from the back of the intake more towards the front like where a FAST2 intake is?

And if it is possible, where is the best place to drill the hole on the forward part of the intake and what's the best way to plug the hole that's left in the back?

I did this on mine. Tap the rear hole and put a bolt with some sealant in it. The front hole is 3/8. It's where the EGR would go if you were to have it. Google FAST 102 instructions and FAST's own instructions are in a PDF. They're very helpful.

I read the PDF instructions and they aren't all that helpful in showing where to drill a hold in the front. All they said is:

"There are two different MAP sensors that can be used. If your MAP is a grommet style, use a 3/8” drill bit to drill through the front MAP port location. If your MAP sensor is O-ring style you must drill out the front MAP sensor location with a 15/32” drill bit."

There's no way that this MAP sensor will go in the center circular section that says "remove for EGR use".

That's strange. I will take pics of mine later today and post. The hole at the front of my intake fits the MAP sensor very tightly. Someone else will have to chime in and offer a better solution.

Pics would be great if you can share.

My only issue is I have a custom harness for my LS swap and the MAP connector is at the front. It may just be easier to ask my harness builder to make an extension so the connector makes it to the back.

There's tons of places that sell the MAP sensor extension harness...
http://www.speartech.com/product_p/mapext.htm

Or if you're handy with a soldering iron, you can extend the wires yourself and save the money.

My harness guy hooked me up. I'm good to go now. Thanks for the inputs.
