Default Calling FAST LSXR users!

Would someone be willing to do me a favor and get a measurement for me? I've got an LS7 in my RX7 and I'm trying to swap intakes. The stock LS7 clears my hood. Just tried the new MSD and no dice.

I measured from the coolant crossover flat to the bottom of a straight edge sitting on top of the front of the intake. Stock LS7 sits 155mm (6.1") tall. The MSD, in comparison, sits 179mm (7.05"). I know the FAST for the LS7 is a different than their other manifolds, so I'm wondering how tall it is. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!

Thanks,

Ryan

Not sure if LS2 102 is the same height or not but I'd appreciate any help =) If you could go from the coolant crossover flat, the same as the picture above to the top of a straightedge.

Thanks,

Ryan

I went and measured using the passenger crossover as the low measuring point. Looks like a little over 7". Just to confirm I have the FAST 102 LS7 LSXR. Hope it helps or at least saves you some time.

Thanks for taking the time! Can you give me just a little better idea where the low point you used was? Was it the same spot as mine just on the pax side?

Thanks a ton!

Yes. I put the end of the tape measure on the flat part right at the steam port. Looks to be at the same level as where you measured. You are welcome, no big deal.
