Can you run o2 sensor on just one port?
Can you run o2 sensor on just one port? I am having a hard time finding a place on the exhaust to install the O2 sensor. With a GMPP computer kit, can you run the O2 sensor on just one port and still have a reasonable amount of accuracy?
No, I mean in one exhaust port on the LH side and one exhaust port on the RH side instead of a sampling of all the cylinders on each side as is normally done.
The car has 4 into 4 side pipes and there really is nowhere to mount an O2 sensor near the engine.

I wouldn't consider having data on 2 out of the 8 cylinders to be anywhere near accurate.
And the sensors don't have to be right near the engine to function. Look at all the long tube headers out there, they have them placed quite a bit from the engine and they work fine.
If you don't have any pipe past the collector to place the o2 sensors in you might as well go with an open loop tune and forget about those completely.
