LS1 Water Pump OK On LS3
I'm restoring a 1954 Cadillac convertible and I'm planning to buy a Connect & Cruise LS3 package for it. Without going into too much detail, I'm having a problem with the LS3 water pump outlet location (driver's side). My life would be greatly simplified if I could swap the LS3 pump for the LS1 style pump with the outlet on the passenger side.
Any problems with this plan?
I bought an aftermarket housing and the bolt holes do not line up. Not sure of the housing was made wrong or the bolt spacing is different.
