Ignition Issue?

Ignition Issue? I'm having issues with my 2002 Camaro SS with starting up. I have a brand new (Mezeire) starter, spark wire and plug.When you start the ride,i get that flexplate ringing sound when the starter prong or sprocket is not engage to the flexplate.I'll be getting some ACDelco D585 ignition coil that might take care of the starter problem.Sometime the motor will start at the first hit and sometime it don't.Help me out.
