Head gasket bore size???

I have a 6.0L iron block, bored to .030, which gasket (bore) size I need? I seen that people uses the LS9 gasket, why if the bore size is larger?

Usually the piston comes up above the deck, so you want a larger bore head gasket so that the piston doesn't hit it at TDC.

LS9 gaskets (PN 12622033) are great gaskets for boost or nitrous, but if it's just an NA engine, regular LS3 head gaskets (PN 12610046) will work just fine and save you about $50.

Like KCS mentioned both the LS9 and LS3 head gaskets will work fine with your bore size.
