New here and new to the LS based engine.

Building a 66 Chevy C10 Short and picked up a 2011 LY6 w/6L90e. 12 Bolt has posi w/3.73 gears.

Need help on my engine build though. Plans are:
Keep VVT - TSP VVT-2 Cam
LS7 Lifters
Holley Hi-Ram
Don't know what TB? 92mm or 105mm
Don't know what upgraded Rockers
Don't know torque converter stall

Truck will need to be street able and a driver...not building a drag truck and will rarely see prolonged top end. But want to be able to PUNCH IT and have so me HP kick me in the pants.

Thanks,

About how much will the truck weigh?

Off hand, I would say go with a:
92mm TB (OEM or V-Max);
OEM intake manifold;
OEM Rockers with the Straub bushing upgrade;
2600 to 3000 stall converter (I like Yank, Vigilante and Circle-D).

KW

NOTE: The Holly Hi-Ram intake looks cool....but for the cost, what it'll give you is less HP and TQ below 5000 RPMs. For a daily driver, it makes no sense. Spend the money elsewhere!

Truck will weigh about 3300lbs dry (maybe a little less). Great suggestions...I appreciate your insight.
