1999 WS6 Diff issues

1999 WS6 Diff issues I upgraded my 1999 WS6 T56 and clutch to a Tremic T56 Stage 2 with a twin disk monster clutch. I also had new U joints put on the driveshaft. Since the upgrades, now when I bang second gear and possibly 3 and so on it sounds like there was an explosion in the rear end. if I drive normal there is no noise at all and drives fine.
While inspecting the driveshaft, I can turn the shaft about 1" before making contact with whatever and the wheels began to turn. Is there too much play there? I also pulled the rear cover off and it appeared to be a little low on fluid and for not being opened in 18 years there was a little bit of metal shavings on the magnet.
Any ideas??
