L76 TO LS3 conversion with Procharger. G8 platform
So I put together an engine (LS3) after having an oil pressure failure in the L76 that was in my G8. It had a procharger setup as well. I was comparing harmonic balancers and I notice that the procharger pulley seats perfectly in the L76 balancer, but in the LS3 it doesn't seat right. The crank pulley seats in the machined groove of the L76 balancer, but there's no groove in the LS3 for it to seat in. For this, I have 2 questions. If I need to use the L76 balancer, will it work safely and properly with the LS3 engine? Or if I need the LS3 balancer, can I modify or machine it to work with the procharger pulley, or should I order a LS3 specific procharger pulley if they make it?
While I'm doing this conversion, is there anything else I need to worry about or modify?
