Default LQ4 vic jr throttle bodies

I'm building a 6.0 up for my 56 ****** Wagon project and having trouble finding the right info for my build. I recently bought a Vic Jr intake with rails, but now looking for a throttle body. I really want that old school look with an air cleaner on top, coils relocated, valve covers, etc. I was looking at Holley's 4150 style tb's. The only issue I've run into with that is that Holley recommends I use their intuitive computer and wiring harness, otherwise I'd have to repin and reflash my computer. Their computer runs about $1600. I'm thinking it would be much cheaper to use the original computer that came with the engine.
I don't want to be cheap, but keeping the cost reasonable would be nice. I'm not planning to race this thing. Just get me, my dogs, and my dirtbikes from Dallas to Colorado at highway speeds and with some amount of reliability.

Thoughts?

How so? Seems like a legitimate question. It offered application, background, and desires.

No worries though. I found that the AccuFab and FAST 4150 throttle bodies use GM sensors so I should be able to maintain the stock ECM. Correct me if I'm wrong.

That's what most people do.
