What is needed to freshen up a L98 / L76 Im looking to either build a LS1 with a cam or get 200K km L98 engine and freshen it up before putting it in a 1980 Corvette C3.
What would be needed to freshen it up.
What kind of cam should be used? The engine is found in VE Commodores and they are getting 295-300rwkw with a LS2 cam, new valve springs, shaved 0.5 point off the heads to match LS2 compression
and tune...
Is there anything better than LS2 cams ?
What else should be replaced while motor is out
BTW diff gearing is 2.87
Not sure if i need to change the stock stall, rather not..
