Default intake advice

Fbody application, 11.5 SCR 408 with ported LS3 heads. Built and spec'd by Erik at HKE seven years ago... took some years away from working on my own cars. Only street tuned so its strictly butt dyno. Its a "street" car since my work schedule makes it near impossible to hit the track.

When it was built the aftermarket hadn't caught up so it has a 4150 Vic Jr and single plane biased cam. Now I'm completely lost with new intake designs.

Maybe this is the ideal intake for my setup. Maybe something out there can flow better across the board. Like everyone I'm interested to see if there's something better. The LSXRT looks like cfm is not a problem at any rpm but I don't know how it would suit these cubes with this cam.

247/259 112+4 and 0.675 lift
standard rockers, 3/8 pushrods, LS7 lifters, yada yada
should turn 8k during a race but its falling off before 7k
feels like its choking from idle up

What do you think?

I can't tune myself so the cost of testing parts adds up pretty quick.

Other details: pin-on Sunoco hood to the windshield and cowl is mostly cut out but still intact with full size windshield (don't know how to trim OEM glass), still plan to put some nitrous through it. Kooks stepped headers 1-7/8 to 2", 3" true duals with X pipe, pump gas 93oct

This.....right here. --->> https://www.texas-speed.com/p-5621-f...p-runners.aspx

BTW.....that 247*/259* cam isn't gonna build power past 7200 RPMs.......and won't make it to 8000 RPMs.
