Scraping headers fix?

The kooks headers on my 02 Camaro have been scraping. It looks like a hole may finally punch through. Could a patch be welded on or would they need to be scrapped? Any others with experience on a fix? (Other than raising the car up)

Scraping on a primary tube or collector? If tube, it would be tricky. Easier with a collector.

No put a new set on and scrape the **** outta them too.......ID10T

Its a primary tube, just before it leads into collector. Thx.

Yeah, as long as the tubing isn't too thin, which just makes it a little tougher to weld.

My point is that anything can be be welded unless the headers are almost completely rotted through. In that case they are not worth fixing and and you should replace them anyway. If they are not rotted through and someone tells you they can't be welded, you need to find a better welder!
