Default Ls3 - 200r4

Anybody know which flexplate to use for this combination? The converter sits exactly 1.00" inside the bellhousing. The back of the crankshaft sticks out >58" beyond the rear face of the block. I tried the a CSI flexplate but the converter mounting surface ends up being 1.30" out from the back of the engine. Was told to use that plate with the .400 spacer/adapter and extra long crankshaft bolts but that combination sticks out 1.7"

I don't have an answer, but if it was me, I would unload the 200r and get an electronic trans of your choice (4l60...70....80...etc..)

There are plenty of guys with older engines that want OD and the 200r will work for them.

Just my 2 cents...

the 200 is an overdrive with a .67 fourth gear. Non electronic so it doesn't need a computer. This one was built by a place that has a lot of experience with these, from back in the day behind 7 second Grand Nationals.
Also my mistake, its a 6.0 LS2 with the extended crankshaft snout.

All current trannies have similar OD fourths..... And either have the control unit built in or are controlled by the engine control unit. And being a 200R4 it needed building to even be equal to what is standard today.

With the long crank, you shouldn't need anything but a flat flexplate. I've got a 200R4 in my LS-Maverick with the normal short crank, a 0.400" spacer, and flat plate...

BTW, how'd you get an LS3 with a long crank?

He edited to state it's actually a 6.0 LS2, but they didn't come with long cranks either. Only LQ4's

The picture shows an iron block, so not a LS2.
