Default Compressive before and after mod list, biggest I’ve seen

Hi, I found a truely interesting incredibly detailed blog about getting a holden commodore (basically a chev ss or g8) as fast as possible and have street manners so it’s achievable to us normal use guys

they do a dyno before and after every mod, and send it down the quarter with a professional driver multiple times with every mod. And sometimes gains on the dyno make the commodore consistently slower down the quarter (this was found with the fast intake and also 1 7/8ths headers over 1 3/4”, and they did the same test after adding more cubes and heads too,

mods are:
3 different cams (4 inc stock)
2 different headers (3inc stock)
l92 heads and mast ls3 heads
3200 stall and 4700stall, and stock
diff ratio
sticky tyres
just a tune on the engine
and much more,

such variation of mods and with both dyno and real time results, a must read

Excellent read.

Their testing seemed very detailed. I wasn't surprised the fast intake under delivered on the 6.0 but I was surprised it was marginal on their 402 stroker. The 1 3/4 headers really shined in all the testing. I would have expected the 1 7/8 to have edge with the cam'd engines, h&c's & strokers.
