Default Afm delete question

I have a gen IV 4.8 I am going to upgrade the cam in. I also have a 2008 Silverado 1500 with the L76 in it and 230k on it. I am seriously thinking of doing the AFM delete on this engine as when I bought it the lot I got it from told me they had recently replaced an AFM lifter.

My question for you all is. Can the gen IV 4.8 stock cam be used for the AFM delete as I want to get rid of that system, but my budget is slim at the moment. I read that you have to use a non AFM cam, so I figured I could use the 4.8 cam as it would just be collecting dust after I put the upgrade cam in the 4.8.

Yes it will work, as it's basically the same cam they put in non-AFM 5.3's
