Cheap cutout?

Anyone have any luck with the elcheapo electric cutouts? I hope the good ones have gotten better. I had a qtp years ago and it constantly rattled and kept falling apart. Red loctite didn’t help and it was way in the rear of the car. I want to build a dual mode exhaust but really don’t want to spend 160+ $$$ on a cutout. Lemme know your horror stories lol.

Use a large 60mm ebay wastegate on your downpipe as a boost activated cutout.
You won't need to redo your piping other than cutting a hole and welding a flange.

Or look into loudvalves.

not a a bad idea at all. Much cheaper than a loudvalve. I did was the option of open when I want tho. I want to be able open it and have that nasty ls engine sound, when I’m in the mood lol.

i bought the el cheapo 1 on Amazon and has been working fine so far.

it may get deleted since vendors sell cutouts (though not as cheap)....

Says its currently unavailable, but theyre all knock offs of eachother. I already had the y for the cutout, just needed the motor/flange/wiring.

thx. At least I know which one to look for now. You can delete the link if you like so you don’t get in trouble.
