Default What hose is this? 2014 Camaro SS

Hello everyone, i have a 2014 Camaro ss with 30,000 miles on it. I had the AC compressor clutch go bad and took it to dealer ship to be replaced (under warranty). I thought all was well and a few months later (today), i noticed some steam exiting the hood vent and i could faintly smell coolant. Coolant temp guage was still reading cool so i wasnt too worried. As i opened the hood with the engine running to see if i could spot source of leak, there was mist of coolant exiting a small hose just to the right of the crank pully. I cut the car off and looked closer. The belt had rubbed through a small coolant line. It rubbed into a crimped portion, it must have been eating through since they installed the compressor.

they replaced the stretch belt so they had to remove the main belt, and they routed it incorrectly. Instead of going from the alternator to idler to crank pully, it was going straight from alternator to crank pully and the belt was resting on the water line.

I am NOT going to take it back to the dealer, they fucked up a simple procedure and i am not giving them a second chance to fix it. Now, i want to replace that hose but i am unfamiliar with its purpose or the part name/ number. Its clamped on to the bottom of the radiator then is crimped onto a hard line stretching under the engine. Possibly a water cooler? If some one could direct me to the name of this part or its purpose, i would really appreciate it. I have not yet put it on my 2 post lift to check it out but id like to have the part before i do so. Thanks!

I would take it back and show them the problem and point out they were the ones who caused it and have them fix it at no cost to you.

Im going there to see of they will give me the hose without replacing it. I dont trust them at this point. Even if they are doing it for free, they arent laying a finger on it. And if they refuse, ill just buy the hose, no biggie. I figured out that its the oil cooler coolant hose. Still cannot find a part number or place to buy it but im sure the dealer can find one

It is the engine oil cooler coolant line. I will get part number when i get home but it was 30 dollara at dealer and took 30 min to replace and add coolant.
