Mid runner vs long is really going to come down to the person driving. If you're driving it like you should, 10 ft lb of loss in the midrange is inconsequential to the 20 hp you gain at peak, and the gobs of power you gain way after peak.

You will be down on power likely until about 5700 rpm, but will now be able to rev it out to 7500. If you set your shift points correctly it should never fall out of the powerband.
Please show me the data on a stroker engine with these runners.
I have searched all over google and can't find anything!

You all seem to say this however, why in Australia are they so reliable?
They are used by most of us here for hot street, racing etc and is so rare to hear of them breaking.
Only in America. lol
First generation YT’s had big time issues. A lot of breakage. Second generation was much better, but there was a issue that needed addressed so YT did a re-design and released the gen 3 rocker which has been great. I’ve only seen one documented breakage, and it was due to admittedly running too much spring pressure. Spring pressure is something that must be closely looked at with ALL aluminum rocker assemblies, not just YT. They all will break if setup wrong.
I run the newest YT setup, custom spec’ed by Tony Mamo for his heads. Perfect for street use, and what most guys on here are doing. If I were racing, I’d go with Jesel steel Mohawk series, but im not.
All parts can fail. Everything has a lifespan. I’m impressed your YT’s have went 9 years. I’m not sure I’ll try mine that long.

What you have stated is spot on and that is what yella terra told me also.
I know there were issues with the earlier versions which yella terra fixed.
However, the majority of breakages were from running too much spring pressure and not setting them up correctly.
I have others here telling me that the yella terra's are rubbish etc when in most cases it their own fault from incorrectly setting them up and having too much spring pressure.
Yella Terra's can support up to 900LB of spring pressure if you use their platinum series.
I am using the pro street which has a max of 600LB of open pressure which is more than enough for me and are a street/strip rocker.
Jesels yes no question, if you are racing and revving over 7500rpm constantly.
I'm not surprised they have lasted. They are of higher quality than the standard rockers and without abuse they can last a long time.

I will post the results here. This hasn't been done by anyone yet.
Well.....I have the mid-length runners right now and I can see how I'm low on low RPM torque but up beyond 6000K rpms. It's to the degree that I'll be re-installing the long runners in the next few weeks along with a before and after dyno.

So....at least from my standpoint, I'll/we'll have that much.

The mid runners work. My truck went 10.33 last November with a 421 pump gas motor, Fast mid length runners and ported LS3 heads. I've since changed the heads to Mamofied AFR Mongoose heads over the winter and expecting high low 10's.
