Default Can I remove the metal insert on the bottom of a FAST 102?

Had heads shaved a bit, so the bolts are a little tight but fit on all holes except the 2 with the metal inserts in the middle of a FAST intake.

Can I remove these? what purpose do they serve? If I cannot remove them what options would I have in getting this to fit?

Thanks

Can you just open them up with a carbide bit? look real close wouldn't take much, or just drill out slightly.

those are "stops" to try too keep you from over tightening, when heads are milled a lot they mill the manifold too, so it will fit.
