Has anyone ever had an oil leak around the center bolts on a valve cover?

 

Not to ask redundant questions, but did you replace the rubber grommet/seals for the bolts? Are they torqued down correctly?

 

I've never had the valve covers off. Gonna have to take a closer look.

 

I'd start there... I've read in other forums where it was a issue of something else leaking or PCV not ventilating correctly, causing increased crankcaae pressure... Idk tbh lol.

 

You ever figure it out?

 

Yep, when my mechanic's helper did the oil pressure sending unit he spilled oil on the wiring loom and it was leaking out.

 

Bruh...I hate when the helpers never do anything with care. When they did the oil change for my girlfriend's Infiniti he left the nozzle dripping down the front grill and bumper. that was at one of those 20 dollar oil change places
