Default BTR Headgaskets LS9

I'm in the process of pulling off the heads on my LS2 GTO engine and was searching for some OEM headgaskets either LS2 or LS9 (any reason not go to with LS9 headgaskets?) and I came across BTR headgaskets LS9 replacement head gaskets - https://briantooleyracing.com/btr-ls...l?___store=btr

I researched around ls1tech.com but I'm unable to find any threads or reviews on these head gaskets. Have you all heard good things about these or have used them yourself? I won't be going boost, just intalling TSP 228r cam with pac dual valve springs. I'm wondering if these would be worth purchasing vs OEM. Also I'm not sure if I should use LS9 head gaskets or LS2?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

LS9 gaskets will work fine, but aren't really necessary unless you will be boosting.
Unless of course the price is the same or less than the LS2 gaskets.

I just used them on my '05 GTO. I am boosted, so they are added security for me.

BUT would be good NA too. A good MLS gasket, same thickness as stock, and a good price. I bought mine through Summit.

My God do you really think BTR really manufactures the Gaskets? Do you think that TSP grinds their own cams? These gaskets are most likely made by a major manufacturer, do you think TICK makes there own push rods, be more worried about quench and what CR your going to get bumping it up .1 won't do ****

As a matter of fact TSP does grind their own cams.

No they don't TSP is an underling of Scoggins Dickey and there and underling of GM. So where's the TSP cam factory? Why do you think all these little speed shops have all their little goofy names for their cams and hide the specs? Because if you saw the specs you'd go too Comp and buy it for 150 less

Maybe your referring to the cam cores but what we're stating is that they're ground at their facility in Texas.

Maybe you should check their site and SEE the cam grinders in their plant. Comp USED to grind TSP's cams, but no more. Maybe tour their plant after this COVID BS is over and see for yourself. Comp's quality had major issues for a while, only one of the reasons TSP invested in their own production machinery.
