Throttle body 8 wire to 6 wire? How?

Throttle body 8 wire to 6 wire? How? I think I'm posting in the correct place this time.
I have a 2005 Silverado. It has a 3 bolt / 8 pin throttle body. I want to change over to a much larger 4 bolt / 6 pin throttle body. And, most importantly, I want it to work correctly!!! Does anyone know what needs to be done?? I already have the intake.How do I get past the TPS-2 differences?? How do I get it to open more than 90%??

For the '05 your only real option is an x-link throttle body adapter harness (same as what's linked above). It's plug and play and will let your existing electronics run the newer/larger TB. You'll also need a 3 bolt to 4 bolt adapter plate to physically bolt the other TB on or better yet, just pick up a Gen IV truck intake that uses that style already. I bought a TBSS/Gen IV truck intake complete with fuel rails, sensors, and throttle body for $100 for my LQ9 project .
