Today when I was pulling my heater core hoses to fix a leak, the 90 degree metal fitting from the water pump just easily broke off in my hand. The damn thing is pretty rotten to be honest. I searched the net for hours and came up empty handed for a replacement. Any help finding one would be greatly appreciated.
Are you able to press fit the replacement tube? Might be time for a new pump.
if youre set up for it, the hole could probably be tapped. Taps and drills that size arent common in the home garage and may cost as much as a new pump.
