Default More Power suggestions

Hey guys, I did a swap on my '84 corvette to now have an lq4 out of an 02 Silverado. When I did the swap I wanted to get a baseline power to start with. So I went to a MustangDyno and found that I was at 250whp with my stock lq4. I am using an ls1 intake manifold with the 78mm throttle body and 36# injectors, on a stock ECU. While on the dyno we were able to tune it from low 200s to 250whp. I am beginning to look towards the future on HP gains and which mods to go with. So I was looking for some tried and true suggestions that will make at least 400 to the wheel NA. I may juice her later down the road if 400 isnt good enough for me.

I have already bought a FAST LSXR 102mm manifold for Rec Port heads. I knew I wanted to change heads and got a good deal on the manifold, so this is my starting spot. Some of the mods I was thinking are:
FAST 102mm throttle body (DBC)
1 7/8" Longtube Headers
823 LS3 Heads
and some type of cam

Would love to hear some suggestions on my setup. Thanks in advance

Due to limited compression from Lq4, i would mill heads .015-.020, use Cosmetic .040 gaskets to bump compression and use a BTR LS3 Stage 3 Cam. Being on a 113 Lsa, it allows more milling and ptv clearance. It addition with the 113 Lsa, you could later add a supercharger if you chose to or Spray NOS. Versatility.

First of all, Mustang Dynos are not easy to compare, definitely get it dynoed with a dynojet, to see how much real power it is making.

Now, you're asking about modifications...all those are recommended. I'm not very familiar with the LQ series of motors, however standard hot rod techniques will apply - more air in, more air out. Get the heads, get the headers (if legal in your state), the previous cam suggestion sounds valid. For sure get a good tune after all the modifications, to best harness the power potential.

Just one suggestion, you might want to look into some suspension upgrades. With greater power, you will be challenged keeping the Car in check on the street.

Just saw you already have a tuner, great! It would be nice to see the graph, with air fuel.
