Bare with me on this dumb question. There are tubes Front passenger side valve cover and rear driver side valve cover) what are my options on what to do with these openings? Engine upgraded cam/springs and intake. Thanks Bob
Those are provisions for positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) which you should use. The passenger side is the input side and should be plumbed to get fresh air downstream of the MAF so the MAF measures the air into the PCV system. The driver side is the outlet side and should go to a manifold vacuum port. If that's the stock valve cover, it may have a built in restriction to limit airflow. If not, you can buy most any cheap PCV valve and put in the line between the valve cover and the manifold vacuum port. thanks for the reply, much appreciated! There is also ports at the throttle body and at the rear of the intake. So should the passenger side valve cover port go to the port on the throttle body? What is the rear port on the intake for?
