Coolant steam vent bypass to upper radiator neck Since I'm swapping in a gen 4 with a 2001 radiator in my Z28 can I safely route the front steam vent to the upper radiator? (This is by using the original steam vent from the LS1). Originally this went through the LS1 throttle body but I have a NW 92mm without the coolant fittings. I searched around and it appears that this is a common mod but wanted to double check.

do you mean upper radiator hose? Yes you can do that. I bought a 1.5” union with a 1/8”npt hole. Installed a barb fitting and it works fine.
Yes. I figured we can make a fitting and just run it to the upper rad hose. Based on my research this will let the heads vent air pockets up and out into the system
