LS2 Timing Cover Crankshaft Seal

LS2 Timing Cover Crankshaft Seal I just pulled the crankshaft seal out of the front timing cover on my LS2 while doing a harmonic balancer swap. I’m not having any luck installing the new seal on the timing cover while it’s bolted to the motor. I’m being told to pull the cover and install off the engine. As I dive deeper into that process it seems way to labor intensive. Need to drop the oil pan? I’d prefer to find a tool that is the same OD as the seal and drive it into the timing cover using a dead blow hammer?
