AN hose end install while on vehicle?

AN hose end install while on vehicle? I may be posting this in the wrong place, so Mods, please relocate if need be. Here is my question, and problem:
Has anyone tried to install AN #10 hose ends while hoses are on the vehicle? My vehicle is a 2000 C5 Vette, with an LPE oil cooler adapter on the side of the block. Its inaccessible without removing the old style Kooks headers. The old style Kooks are a PITA to R&R, so trying to avoid it. Thanks guys.

Sure. Can be done. Difficulty will depend on what kind of hose it is (PTFE can be MUCH easier), how much space you have to work in and how accessible it is, whether you have to cut the end off and it gets too short, etc.
Seems though, if you can get in there to the extent of even asking this question, that even if the cooler adapter is inaccessible, if you can get to the hose ends to disconnect them, you could pull the lines out and leave the adapter there.

In my experience Fragola 6000 PTFE is way more difficult to assemble than regular ends.

Bumping for using Pushlock style hose. Big fan of that Aeroquip/Eaton/Parker, etc...never run into assembly issues when running them, even when installed in a car. Hoo-ray first post too...I had thought I signed up for this forum a long time ago. Guess I hadn't.
