LS3 Reverse Intake Valley Cover Options I’ve a 2012 LS3 engine, I ned to reverse the OEM Intake Manifold. On the Intake manifold Valley cover the Oil Pressure Sender Boss in too high to allow the Intake to seat back onto the heads. I see where Katech sells a Complete Valley Cover that addresses this issue (expensive) or they sell a kit KAT-A6678 Oil Pressure Sensor Adapter and a KLAT-4785 Modified Valley Cover. What are other options. I’m sure this is an old question. Suggestions. Others say you can shave the Sender Boss down and rethread it. Another would be to go to a different intake. Thoughts, Thank you

I don't know your fab skills but I'm cheap. I would cut the boss as needed and the take it to a welding shop and plug the opening. Or maybe just cut the boss off and then drill and tap for a NPT plug of some sort.
Then for the oil pressure sender drill and tap the boss at the oil filter for a oil pressure sender.

There are several places on the block you can put an OPSU. Some not so "optimal", as they aren't at the most properly indicative location, butt hay. Better than ... whatever.
Move the OPSU somewhere else, plug the existing spot, and get on with your life.
