I am currently putting together a 408 build from an lq4 block.
The motor is going back in a 2001 Silverado 2500
I'm running into a few hangups.
The truck uses a drive by Cable system, but since we are going back with rec port heads I will also have to get a rec port intake.
As far as I am aware, the rec port intakes are all DBW.
Is there a way to use a Drive by Cable throttle body on a rec port intake?
The other issue is the fuel injectors for the LS3 use a different style connector. Is there an adapter to use?
Just need a little help to move forward.
Want to make sure I know all the hurdles before I get in too deep.

You need a 4 bolt 90mm DBC throttle body. Available everywhere. Also need a way to mount the cable to intake.

 

thank you for your reply. Are there any brackets available for mounting or would that be something I have to fab up myself
