LSA balancer decision
LSA balancer decision I need to purchase a new balancer since I currently don't have one. A new GM through RA is almost the same price as their Dayco Powerbond units. I know there is ATI , and Innovators West. What have you used and been happy with? I'd like to purchase once. I will be running a stock displacement 6.0 with an LSA crank. I have not decided on the upper pulley yet.

I recently purchased an ATI as a replacement and the packaging is as it should be for a heavy item like a damper.
I have used an ASP 25% UD Balancer since 2009. It works great, never any problems. However, whichever brand you choose, I don't recommend a 25% UD UNLESS you live in a Northern border state. I spend 1/2 my time in Michigan. The other half is in Florida. I've never overheated in Florida, but the engine coolant is noticeably hotter in stop and go driving in Florida than in Michigan. Especially at a Florida red light. Some of them are long enough to break out your electric shaver, then put it away, and I'm not kidding!! If you have an LS7, and want the ATI 10% UD, order it from Tony Mamo. He has ATI machine them up special for him, the way ATI SHOULD machine them for everyone else.....
