Pilot Bushing
I don't have the greatest measurement tools to verify this so here's what I'm looking for some help on. I'm getting that the face of the transition from the small pocket to the large is on the same plane as the bellhousing mounting surface. Essentially my pilot tip would protrude 0.34" into the small pocket. If I use the outer pocket I think the pilot shaft would interfere with the pilot bearing and I'm also nervous that the pilot shaft would be inserted too shallow in the inner pocket.
Two questions. Can anyone verify the orientation of the pockets to the bellhousing face? What is the minimum insertion depth I need to pay attention to for the pilot tip in the bearing?
