Trying to figure out my front drive setup for my road race car that will see high RPM a lot. Going to run a Katech manual tensioner, a 10% underdrive ATI crank damper and a 3" alternator pulley.
I was 99% settled on the ICT billet low mount alternator setup by itself. Was on a Facebook group and I saw a guy running it plus the ICT power steering pump delete pulley. I asked why and he said "belt wrap".
With just the alternator the belt wrap on the crank and water pump is "minimal". The way you route with the power steering delete pulley you get a lot more belt wrap on both. Doesnt seem to be a down side except another $75... I cant argue with the guy that he has a lot more belt wrap with the second setup, I just dont know that its a "problem" that is in need of a solution.
Anybody have thoughts on either of these two setups as it relates to belt wrap and belt slippage at high RPM's?
Here's pics of both setups....

Hello,,
On my LSA without PS pump it look like this.
There is an extra pulley on the lower alternator mount and the ribbed pulley is bigger than the one in your picture.
