Default Help with LS3 OE intake install gaps

I have a new GM LS3 long block that I just installed a new GM LS3 intake on with the proper 2 step torque and sequence and there are gaps at the bottom of the intake as seen from front and rear. This is my first LS build and, although everything should be correct, it doesn’t look right to me. Before proceeding, can anyone provide any input/guidance on this please?

The type of gaskets used fill the gaps.

A little hard to tell from the pics but in the first pic is the intake bottomed out on that valley cover bolt head? The intake doesn't need to seal against the valley cover. But it kind of looks like the intake isn't sealing against the cylinder head.

I should have got out my feeler gauge and took a measurement for you. It's not perfectly flush and I don't believe I could squeeze a dime under it either.

The intake manifold should have little indents in it for the bolt head. The gaskets should make up the intake clearance there as they are much thicker than that there.
