Default Noisy after cam install

Racking my brain over this. Recently installed btr stage 2 truck cam, btr v1 trunion upgrade, and new ls7 lifters. Oil pressure is 30 psi cold at idle and 18 psi hot with 10w30. Drivetrain is noisy as heck, used 7.400 btr pushrods but have 7.350 pushrods on order after measuring length with a checker and adding .075 preload.Replaced turbo gasket and header gaskets with remflex stuff.

Guess im just making sure that im going down the right path to quiet it up. Run it or keep chasing it?

Heres a quick short video, smoke is from oil i spilled

It doesn't sound horrible but that oil pressure is pretty low. I might have done my math wrong but with that 7.4 pushrod you are way over the recommended preload of those lifters.

Yeah, i got the cam years ago for another build and I ended up putting it in this engine. I measured right at 7.36 with .080 preload so i ordered some 7.350 pushrods.

Think the longer pushrods could be causing the lifters to leakdown and possibly be the oil pressure issue? Also dropping the oil pan to check the oring and block off the bleed valve in the pan. I doubt its the oring but worth a shot i guess.

did you replace the oil pump when you did the cam swap?

I did, with a new m295 pump. What i didn’t do was cam bearings but they looked normal and I didn’t want to blow the engine all apart.

Make sure the O-ring isn't distorted or the wrong one. It happens....
