Default MAF and air duct suggestions

I’m getting ready to install my LS3-based stroker in my 2000 Camaro. I already have the wire harness adapters/extensions. I plan on ordering a bigger fuel pump too. It will probably be the Walbro 255 kit. I think the engine will make about 600 hp, so the 255 should work.

Now, I just need to find a new/bigger MAF and flex duct to fit to the stock LS3 intake. I have the standard SLP lid, and was hoping to keep using that. Can I connect a 100mm MAF and smooth bellow to it? I am trying to get rid of the stock accordian style bellow and MAF. The MAF hasn’t worked since I bought the car, but I would like to have one that works.

I have looked at the kit from Hawk’s Motorsports, but it’s kinda pricy. Plus, I already have an air box lid. I don’t want a duplicate. Are there any other options out there?

Have you considered the option of going speed density? Eliminate the MAF and use a 4” 22 degree coupler (60112498576) from intake hoses.com

You'd need a 104mm lid to fit the 100mm MAF.

That’s what I was trying to avoid. Thanks for the info though.

I have the same lid, but a different brand throttle body. I’ll still use a 92mm throttle body though.

is this the hose you have?

I ordered the 22 degree hose and T-bolt clamps. It's on back order, so it will be a while before I get it.
