Default G5X3 clearance on milled AFR205s

I'm running a A4 C6 Z51 (2005 model with a stock 3.15 diff). I have the G5X3 @ 114lsa, LG Pro Longtubes, a vigilante 3500 plus a few other goodies. I have a ported FAST90 on the way which I will install as soon as I receive a set of aftermarket heads.

I'm highly contemplating the AFR 205s and I'm thinking of milling them to for combustion chamber between 62 and 64cc (I 'think' that should be around .030 milling).. I wouldn't want to raise compression higher than that (Planning to run pump fuel) but I'll still be using cometic .040 head gaskets. Do I need any work done to the heads other than the milling? Will I have any PTV clearance issues? The cam is on 114 lsa which should give it more room that the X3 on 112 lsa

Also, would this heads be the optimum choice for my application.. I know some will recommend the 225s over the 205s but I don't see any plans for increasing engine displacement in the near future.

ETPs and TrickFlows seem to be awesome choices too but the fact that they are not 'direct' bolt-ons is kind of throwing me off
Happy driving everyone..

Call up AFR or LG, they'll have your answer for you. Honestly, this place can be next to useless sometimes ...

Unless someone has exactly the same setup AND has actually measured their oppinion is as good as yours.
Lots of folks wil say yada yada worked for me but they didn't measure so you are better of without oppinions.
Much like asking people that never measured, what is the right lenght pushrod?

Seems like I remember the X3 on a 114 will be close with the milled heads. Basically like the X3 on a 112 with stock heads if I remember right. I had a X3 112 for my '69 but didn't want to pull the heads to check PTV clearances and sold it and got a FM-15. The thicker head gasket would be a good idea, but I'd still call LG and see what they say.

Guess starting the thread is useless.. I'm researching a 408 short-block so the range of suitable heads have changed... Any recommendations..!? I might consider changing the cam.. Any recommendations on that..!? I really like the X3 but I don't know whether I could benefit out of another cam with the added displacement..

... I've got an issue I guess I have to worry about on my own... Anyone heard of traction..!? (19 rears ) Goin down to smaller rims for radials sound like a downgrade..
