G5X3 clearance on milled AFR205s
I'm highly contemplating the AFR 205s and I'm thinking of milling them to for combustion chamber between 62 and 64cc (I 'think' that should be around .030 milling).. I wouldn't want to raise compression higher than that (Planning to run pump fuel) but I'll still be using cometic .040 head gaskets. Do I need any work done to the heads other than the milling? Will I have any PTV clearance issues? The cam is on 114 lsa which should give it more room that the X3 on 112 lsa
Also, would this heads be the optimum choice for my application.. I know some will recommend the 225s over the 205s but I don't see any plans for increasing engine displacement in the near future.
ETPs and TrickFlows seem to be awesome choices too but the fact that they are not 'direct' bolt-ons is kind of throwing me off
Happy driving everyone..
Lots of folks wil say yada yada worked for me but they didn't measure so you are better of without oppinions.
Much like asking people that never measured, what is the right lenght pushrod?
