Cant Decide on Headers

I have a 2005 C6 Z51. I want to know yalls opinion on what headers I should put on it. I cant decide between the American Racing 1 7/8 or the LG Longtubes. I heard the LG's make more power but I plan on Heads and Cam later and a little bit of gas. What do you think ?

I can tell you right now that the American racing headers are a very nice piece. Besides unless that have been tested back to back in a very controlled environment the claim LG makes more power is not valid. Im not saying its not true but I would like to see both sets on the same car.Two factory cars can vary by 30hp or so. I dont know about the LG they may be just as nice but American Racing has some nice stuff.

how does a smaller pipe such as the 1 3/4 flow better over a larger pipe such as 1 7/8 .... explain that?

Stainless, coated or painted is about the only thing u have 2 think on because they all make about the same HP numbers.FWIW
